I love colour and all things eclectic.
This week the weather is beautiful and our feet are bare, we eat outside each and every night; I bought some wool to felt at the farmer's market for four dollars; I dress Poppy in polka dots or in the understated diaper; I have reclaimed a turquoise craft room complete with a clothesline of colourful inspiration;Gramma's sewing machine will be fixed by the weekend; I have stacks of yummy Anna Maria Horner fabrics awaiting their destiny; I am in love {well, to be fair, I am always in love}, we celebrated 2 years of marriage, I turn 29 in less than a week, and I am happy and hopeful.
So in celebration of all of the above and more, this week I challenge you to get as many colours into one frame as you possibly can. Our life and days are overflowing with possibility so go out and capture it!

I would be pretty happy with Anna Maria Horner fabric too. They are lovely. I can't wait to see some of the projects that come out of your wool and fabric.

Erin, this is interesting! At first, I thought that this would be easy, because color is what inspires me to create. But after thinking for a few minutes, I realized that in my "real life", I crave soft monotones that soothe. I will have to look beyond my immediate surroundings!

I took my picture before knowing what the challenge was however I took it for the same reason. I remember thinking "whoa, there is a lot of color in that pile' and decided to take a picture not being sure what I'd ever do with it. Now I know the reason it was taken.
I love your idea here and posted about it too.
Thanks for the challenge.

This "assignment" inspired me to blog (http://listeningandlaundry.blogspot.com/) twice--once with just a couple of multi-color images and then integrating lots of colors and the idea of contrast from the other week. Thanks for the inspiration! I'm enjoying the thinking that these hunts get started!
